Here at Eagle Eye Innovations, we pride ourselves on being the only company specialising in all genres and classifications of drone technology. Our EEI Academy instructors have over 120 years of military experience and thousands of amassed operating hours on a wide variety of drones in both a commercial and operational setting.
We have expertise on all matters relating to drones, drone training and drone surveying within our team ranging from sub 25kg aircrafts, such as the Mavic Mini, through to the MQ-9 Reaper and other Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) aircrafts. We have been operating both nationally and globally since 2013 and are the longest running drone training and consultancy organisation in the United Kingdom.
Our team is the most experienced available within the industry and we are passionate about driving and delivering our vision; to enable safe RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) operations for the world.

The Role
You will deliver a mix of classroom, synthetic and live flying instruction, training operators in sensor employment, mission systems, and ISR tasking within a structured training environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction across ground and airborne training phases
- Prepare and debrief students on sensor operations and mission execution
- Support ongoing course development and standardisation
- Maintain training delivery in line with recognised instructional standards
Qualifications and key skills
Essential
- CFS Qualified Mission Aircrew Instructor (QMAI) to at least a B1 standard (or recognised equivalent)
- Proven ISR instructional experience within the airborne environment
- Strong communication and student engagement skills
Please note
The role may require the individual to pass a Class 2 CAA Medical or equivalent European Aviation Safety Authority medical (at EEIs expense)
Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
