Eagle Eye Innovations (EEI) is seeking an ambitious and motivated RPAS Engineering Technician Co-ordinator to join our Aerospace and Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the maintenance, repair and airworthiness of advanced RPAS platforms while working alongside experienced aerospace engineers, aviation professionals and military veterans.
As a RPAS Engineering Technician Co-ordinator, you will support the maintenance and engineering activities associated with EEI's RPAS fleet, helping to ensure our aircraft remain safe, compliant and mission-ready.
Primarily based at our Lincoln headquarters, you will gain practical experience across mechanical, electrical and avionic systems while developing your technical knowledge and professional competence within a highly supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation and Asset Management
- Maintain accurate maintenance
records and engineering documentation.
- Help
ensure tools, equipment and RPAS assets are
stored, handled and maintained correctly.
RPAS
Maintenance and Engineering support
- Support
the maintenance, repair and overhaul of RPAS in accordance
with approved technical documentation and regulatory standards.
- Assist with
the installation, testing and calibration of
mechanical, electrical and avionic components.
- Carry
out routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities under the
guidance of experienced engineers.
- Support
the safe and effective operation of RPAS through high-quality engineering
practices.
Diagnostics and Technical Development
- Assist with
fault-finding and diagnostics across RPAS systems.
- Work
collaboratively with experienced engineers to troubleshoot and resolve
technical issues.
- Develop
technical knowledge through practical experience, mentoring and
ongoing learning opportunities.
Co-ordination and Team Working
- Work
closely with engineers, pilots and operational teams to support
engineering activities.
- Help
co-ordinate maintenance tasks and engineering priorities.
- Contribute
positively to team performance and support colleagues in achieving
operational objectives.
Quality, Safety and Compliance
- Follow
all company safety, quality and compliance procedures.
- Support
engineering activities conducted in accordance
with ISO, CAA and MAA requirements.
- Maintain
strong awareness of health, safety and airworthiness
requirements.
Projects and Continuous Improvement
- Support
engineering projects, system integrations and capability
development activities.
- Contribute
ideas and suggestions to improve processes, systems and ways of
working.
What we are looking for
We're looking for people with enthusiasm, curiosity
and a genuine passion for aviation and engineering. Previous industry
experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn and develop is.
Essential
- Level
3 qualification (or above) in Aircraft Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- Good
understanding of health and safety principles within an engineering
environment.
- Strong
organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competent
IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
- A
proactive and professional approach to learning and development.
Desirable
- Interest
in RPAS, aviation or aerospace systems.
- Experience
gained through projects, placements, apprenticeships or
engineering clubs.
- Exposure
to aircraft maintenance, electronics, avionics or
engineering workshops.

Security Requirements
Due to the nature of elements of
the roles, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required
to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal
record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also
normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
